With 11,6 million Danish Kroner in support from the Danish Energy Association's EUDP programme, the development of EVergreen charging stations takes a big step forward. The station will utilise a number of parameters enabling the user to charge when electricity is cheap and comes from wind mill or other sustainable energy sources. Thus, intelligent charging stations have moved closer.

With a budget of just under 20 million Dkr and grant funds from the so-called EUDP programme of over 11,6 million Dkr Vikingegaarden Ltd is now ready to commence a two-year development programme aimed at developing EVergreen charging stations to a production ready intelligent charging system for electrical cars.
The goal is to create a system that makes it easy and simple to charge the electrical car's batteries, while the CO2-free energy from eg wind mills is used. This will be a big step forward towards a solution of practical considerations on the use of electrical vehicles.
Besides form Vikingegaarden two partners joins the project. These are Swarco, Europe's leader in intelligent traffic systems, and Trager Ltd. which as a communications company will carry out the dissemination of the project for the future commercial sales. In addition, Ramboll Management is associated with the project as a supplier of market research, and Eurisco is associated as advisor in the standardization of solutions for electrical vehicles.
